3-Day training: $975 offered from 9am to 5pm
This introductory course is recommended for new users of all AutoCAD based products. Course emphasizes fundamental 2-D drafting skills.
Topics include: Drawing setup, units and scale, object creation and editing functions, display and zoom functions, advanced drawing functions including 2D and 3D polylines, layer creation and management, text, accuracy issues including object snaps, partial open/load, blocks, dimensioning, the Cartesian coordinate system, relative coordinates, coordinate precision, internet accessibility and more. Through lecture and hands-on exercises, our instructors will help you develop the necessary skills for efficient and accurate drafting.

2-Day training: $650 offered from 9am to 5pm
This course is recommended for users who have completed AutoCAD Level I and for existing users who wish to improve their AutoCAD skills. Course emphasizes advanced drafting and plotting skills.
Topics include: Advanced environment topics including menuload, the CUI, preferences, profiles, multiple AutoCAD sessions, customizing toolbars, and prototype drawings. Also covered will be macro creation with lisp, linetypes, advanced block commands, fields, the table object, 3D construction commands, UCS (user coordinate system), raster images, point filters, variable settings, external references and file management, paper space, viewports, enhanced text formatting and dynamic annotation, plotting, sheet sets and more.
Prerequisite: AutoCAD Level I or instructor’s consent.

Topics include: Sheet Set Manager - templates, fields, page setups, view blocks, callout blocks, publish, etransmit, and table of contents; Dynamic Blocks - block editor, parameters, actions, creation; Customizing Tool Palettes, Advanced Editing; Troubleshooting Drawings; and Tips and Tricks.

This course introduces new features of AutoCAD 2009 as compared to previous versions of AutoCAD. Users transitioning from AutoCAD 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008 will learn new AutoCAD features and productivity enhancements.
Topics include: The Multiple Drawing Interface, partial Open and Load features, external reference enhancements, table objects, using fields, new Object Snap methods, right-click menu functionality, updated dimension and layer commands, the AutoCAD Design Center (useful for adding blocks, layers, and styles from other drawings), multiple paper spaces and non-rectangular viewports, dynamic annotation scaling to viewport scale, layer properties per viewport, enhanced tables, enhanced text formatting, multiple leader creation and alignment, plot configuration, sheet sets, publish to PDF and more. Prerequisite: Prior knowledge of ACAD 2006, 2007 or 2008.
