CAD Masters CAD Launcher

CAD Masters CAD Launcher was designed to replace the OPEN and NEW dialogs within Autodesk® Map, Architectural Desktop, Land Desktop, and AutoCAD® with a more “job/project” focused drawing launcher. CAD Launcher allows you to better organize and maintain you’re company’s job folders by re-centering your users around your jobs as opposed to any AutoCAD setup defaults or Land Desktop project paths. The application automatically detects and displays all installations of Autodesk products and all related AutoCAD profiles. The user can then create or select the desired job folder structure and then create or open the desired drawing file within that job.

Launches from the desktop and within any “flavor” of AutoCAD (replaces OPEN and NEW commands).
Select your desired AutoCAD and AutoCAD profile from one common interface.
Maintains a list of each user’s last ten (10) drawing files.
Remembers the users’ last five (5) jobs.
Thumbnail drawing preview inside and outside of AutoCAD.
Instant job folder creation based on company-defined standards.
Optional filtering of jobs based on presence of company standard CAD folder(s).
Re-paths key AutoCAD dialogs (i.e. xref attach) initial folders to job relative paths and/or fixed network paths on the fly.
Detects and initializes Raster Design on demand.
Quick key selection for drawing files within a folder.
Can be deployed “silently” to all workstations.
Power user drawing path overrides available.
Optionally associate drawing files (.dwg) with the CAD Launcher program. Bring up CAD Launcher by double-clicking a drawing within Windows Explorer.

Works seamless with Land Desktop project setups.
Create and assign project setups external to AutoCAD.
Multiple projects allowed with each job folder structure.
Optionally create project root directories as each job is selected.
Each drawing remembers its full Land Desktop project path/link.
Fixes the profile corruption problem when using both Land Desktop and Land Enabled AutoCAD.
Recognizes internal Land Desktop project re-association.
