Registration is available for the new Autodesk webcast series, “From Paper to the Web,” hosted by Autodesk Geospatial Applications Engineer Neal Niemiec. It focuses on Raster Design, AutoCAD Map 3D, and Autodesk MapGuide software.
 
1. September 23, 11:00 AM - "AutoCAD Map 3D Helps Correct Errors, Add Intelligence, and Perform Analysis."

This session will show end users how to use AutoCAD Map 3D software to find and fix errors from vectorization, add custom attributes to newly created CAD objects, and add CAD standards using object classification.

Autodesk has announced a significant change to their software upgrade policy. Starting March 16th, 2010 an upgrade from any previous version, including 2008 and 2009, will cost 50% of the price of a new license.  Only customers on subscription will avoid this new pricing model.  Act soon to beat this cost increase. v2007 Retirement Promotion - Discounts End October 16th

AutoCAD 2007 and other Autodesk 2007 products will be retiring on March 16, 2010. After this date, you will no longer be eligible to receive technical support or upgrade pricing. Now through October 16th, you can save 20% on the cost of upgrades.

v2008 & v2009 Upgrade Policy Change:

Under the current pricing model, the price of your upgrade depends on which product release you own.
Important:
After March 16th, 2010 your upgrade from previous software releases will cost 50% of the FULL price of a new license. The last day to upgrade at standard pricing is March 15th, 2010.
